Hid Compliant Touchscreen Missing From Device Manager - posted in Windows 10 Support: I have a HP laptop with a touchscreen which has been working fine until a few days ago when I attempted to. There’s a good chance that you’ve accidentally hidden your HIP Compliant touch screen, hence the HIP Compliant touch screen not showing problem. If that’s the case, you should un-hide it. Here’s how: 1) On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and R at the same time, then type devmgmt.msc into the box and press Enter. Device Manager show that HID compliant touch screen gray under the Human Interface Device and does not have the option to disable or disable. Checking under the ’about this computer’ under settings, it reported No Pen or Touch input available for this display. I am running Window 10 Pro that was upgraded from Window 8. I’ve been to that page many times and the driver I need is not there. It keeps saying in my system I dont have a touch screen driver, when that is just a lie since I’ve had it working since i bought the PC in 2014. I just need a link to redownload the HID compliant driver for touchscreen.

Previous to the reset I had been having touchscreen ups and downs, (mostly down since windows 10) but I could always at least see the driver in Human Interface Devices in the Device manager . Now the laptop is working great but there is NO TOUCHSCREEN DRIVER. Does anyone know a source to find one for Asus Windows 10? I’ve called asus three times and they hung up on me all three times. I’ve looked on their support site and see a bunch of drivers but no touchscreen driver?
I’m pushing the limits of what I’m capable of here - just don’t know what to do.
